Biography
Volkmar Drübbisch was
born in Hünfeld, Germany on May 16, 1963. He attended the Technical
University of Braunschweig and completed his degree in Pharmacy in 1991.
For the next four years, Volkmar Drübbisch worked at the University
of California San Francisco, where he published his research within the
interdisciplinary in the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and
Pharmaceutical Chemistry. During these years, he acquired certifications
in welding and machining. He increasingly devoted more and more time
to
his interest in design and crafting of functional art. In 1996 he left
his research career to start the company pARTicular contemporary
design. He now designs for both residential and commercial environments.
